Jinky Huang, also known as Huang Xiaomian, is deeply influenced by Jacques Derrida’s deconstructionist philosophical thinking in his contemporary art. He often disassembles various graphics, languages, characters, symbols, etc., for a more idealized artistic expression, and extensively ponders over artistic presentation methods of ideological concepts such as social status quo and urban environment. He frequently applies four – cornered planar squares, inclined original structures, inverted forms, and multi – material forms in his artistic creations, and uses the method of splicing irregular quadrilaterals to explore and re – evaluate new artistic orders and values.
